How does pay-per-download file hosting work?
You upload a file to Media Platform and share its download link. Direct download is pay per download (PPD): when a real visitor completes a download, it is counted and you earn up to $33 per 10,000 downloads.
How much free file storage do I get?
Every account gets 100 GB free, with files up to 1 GB. Premium raises this to 1–10 TB and files up to 5 GB or more.
What file types can I share?
Any type. Downloads are delivered as a .zip archive that holds your original file.
When does a download count?
The visitor finishes the wait and the clicks, and the file finishes downloading. Cancelled or failed downloads don’t count. One IP address can earn you up to 3 paid visits every 24 hours, across all products, and each video, file or link counts once per IP every 24 hours. Bots are ignored.
Can I share a whole folder of files?
Yes. Share a folder and viewers get one public page listing every file in it. Each file still opens on its own download page, so every download is counted and earns. You can stop sharing whenever you like.
Can I earn more by combining it with the link shortener?
Yes, with Combo: shorten your download link (or a shared folder of files) and share the short link instead. The visitor unlocks the short link, then downloads, so you earn the link-click rate and the download rate on the same visit.
Are adult files allowed?
Yes. Legal adult (18+) files, such as photo sets, clips and media packs, are welcome and earn per download like any other file. Everyone shown must be a consenting adult and you must have the rights to share the files. Illegal content is removed and reported. Direct download pages show mainstream advertisers only, not adult ads.
